Absence reason codes can (sometimes) only be input after submitting an absence/tardy
When updating attendance it is frequently not possible to input a reason code unless we have previously submitted an absence or tardy. Sometimes MISIS will allow us to input an absence and a reason code at the same time, but sometimes it does not. An A or T must be entered before MISIS will allow a reason, which slows down the attendance process substantially. Additionally, the "Update for all periods" button is not functional (does not update or save), and presents with the same problem described above. The problem is recurring, but does not seem to follow a pattern. Sometimes logging out/in solves the problem, sometimes it does not.
