make sure that updates don't erase any previous data
We updated the exit/withdrawal date for the students that where absent the last day of school. By doing that I now discovered that then NYE line for those students was deleted. Now I'm being told that's a certify issue. I know of other times where MISIS has updated the way a screen looks or like recently the way an address is inputted. After that change all of my kids addresses show unverified address and the apartment numbers have been doubled and an extra space added between the number and street name. Are we supposed to fix each one individually? We wouldn't have to if the coding was done in a way where it would automatically update all the students correctly.

Addresses entered on the Enrollment, Parent/Guardian, Emergency Contact, and Other Family Member screens in Misis have been standardized automatically to comply with United States Postal Services (USPS) requirements.
“Until June 25, all previously entered addresses in MiSiS had an Unverified Address status. On June 25, MiSiS automatically standardized all previously entered addresses in MiSiS.
Clearing the cache (browser history) should resolve most issues with the new address fields in MiSiS.
