Automatic Population of Student Addresses During Student Enrollment
I still need to input a student's address multiple times while enrolling a new student? Why? The older version of MISIS required me to input a student's address at least 3 times, (student, and then once for each parent). The current version of MISIS requires me to input it at least twice (once for student, then for the first parent). MISIS should require me to input ONLY once for the student and then the system should allow me to just click to verify the same address for any parent.

I'd like to add that also when you change the student's address it does not change the parent's address even if you have checked off SAME

June 2020- Still wondering why I still have to add home address so many times. "mailing address" and "Residence address" for each parent. Atleast have an autofill of the child you are currently enrolling.

Thanks, but this has been said before. I have no doubt that it will be redesigned. However, I suspect that it will be a few years down the road, based on previous communications with others at MISIS regarding similar issues submitted years ago. In other words, this response from MISIS is practically the same as "We'll work on it" which basically means nothing. A better response would have included a probable time frame during which we could expect this change.

Currently I have to highlight the address copy and then when I get to the parents area paste, wait for the address to be validated and then save. It is very time consuming. We should just be able to select same as students.

THIS NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED. PROGRAMMERS NEED TO THINK IN TERMS OF LESSENING KEYSTROKES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE...I TYPE WITH ONE HAND DUE TO A STROKE. I'VE HAD SURGERY ON BOTH MY HANDS DUE TO CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME. LET'S TRY TO MAKE DATA ENTRY EASIER FOR ALL. IT SAVES TIME, STRESS ON THE HANDS AND CERTAINLY MAKES US ALL MORE PRODUCTIVE.
