Scan student ID for tardies in high school.
At our high school, we have hundreds of students that are tardy from advisory through the end of the day. These students are tardy upon entering campus, when they arrive to school. I'm not talking about already being here and being tardy to their next class. I'm talking about them being tardy upon first getting to campus. We already have to scan their phones for their Daily Pass, why can't we scan their bar code on their student ID into MISIS as being tardy. We also already use this barcode to scan their ID for their COVID testing each week. As the 2nd largest school district in the country, I know this is possible since we are already scanning students every day with their daily pass and once a week in addition to that for their COVID test.
