  2. Remove trash can from Records Request page

    Please remove the trash can or ability to delete what other people add onto the Records Request page. I had information deleted on this page for 103 students that I put in for LA High. It would work better if only the person who puts the information in on this page can be the only one to delete it.

  3. MISIS should add a pop up box that shows any Emergency/Important Alerts regarding a particular student.

    Users should be able to save "Red Flag" notes for a student that will pop up as soon as you go into the student profile. The Alerts can be things such as "Restraining Order on file/ (insert name) is not allowed to pick up student", Custody related issues, Medical Alerts, etc. I know that those notes are saved under "Census" currently but they should pop up as soon as you go into the student profile as a "Red Flag" type of notice.

    Thank you for your suggestion. Student profile alerts display in the header of the profile – there is also a job aid available that explains each value. I will forward both to you separately. If you have a suggestion for a specific alert, please submit it via the forum.

  4. MISIS should work flawlessly on all browsers, not just Firefox

    Firefox is an outdated browser. Being told to "try Firefox" whenever there is an issue is not helpful. A person who is up to date with most technology does not even have Firefox on their computer.

  5. Alert Notification for Restraining Orders

    MISIS needs to alert a user when a restraining order is in effect as soon as a student's record is opened. Currently the only way to access a restraining order is viewing it through the Census/Court Order. How many people know or go to that section of MiSIS?

    If a student has a court order, such as a restraining order, an alert “C” is displayed on the student profile. There is limited space for alerts on the profile; there is not a plan for a more specific code for restraining order to be added. Therefore, this item has been declined.
