Have teachers certify/correct attendance for discrepancies before being allowed to submit attendance.
If teachers certify/correct attendance for discrepancies before they submit, this in turn will eliminate having to print out teacher discrepancies and will also make attendance more accurate as they make corrections before they submit attendance.

Merge MISIS and iFieldtrip
Please make it possible for MISIS and iFieldtrip to merge so when we are inputting attendance for students going on a fieldtrip we can just go in and input attendance from an already made list. That would be awesome and make things so much more faster than having to create a group in MISIS and adding each and every student one by one. Please consider. Thanks!

Excused absence
Add back to the drop down menu "excused." There are excused absences that are not in the drop down menu such as the special ed office.

Add Button
In update attendance, I would LOVE to have a button that will allow us to return to TODAY'S DATE, rather that having to use the drop boxes.

Summons option for student groups
When a group is created, it would be nice to be able to create a summons for each student in the group without having to select each one specifically from the parameters option.

General excused tardy code
Misis used to have a code for excused tardy, just a 1 with Excused. It was handy when a student came from another teacher with a note. Now it only has 1M for medical exuse, 1N for nurse, and 1P for parent.
Can you bring back the plain 1 or 1G for general excused tardy?
Also, it's rare but when a student is tardy and then Leaves Early, the tardy gets deleted but that will probably be a hard fix. Not worth it.

Show FIRST names of teachers on student schedules please!
From the attendance screen, click on a student's name and a page opens with all their info. Pick Academics --> Schedule and their schedule opens. Great. BUT it shows only the first initials for teachers, which easily leads to emailing the wrong person. Please oh pretty please populate with with not just the last names but the complete first names of the teachers.

be able to expand Attendance-At-A-Glance to a period by period version
Right now you just see a daily summary (which the legend at right does not explain all the codes, by the way!). You have to hover over each day to see the details. It would be helpful to be able to click to an expanded version which could let you see if a student is ditching a certain period, or chronically coming late, and more understandable to parents.

alphabitize!!!
Schoology and misis do not have the same alphbetizing, especially when students last names are the same.
Have respect for kids names. We ask for their last name but misis uses the students other last names which they don't go by.
Print the report card on both sides in English and spanish. Many students can't read a spanish report card. Just because a parent is bilingual doesn't mean the student has a grasp of the 2nd language of their parent4 votesOpened enhancement 7334 Modify Teacher Class Attendance 2.0 to alphabetize student names to match Schoology alpha rules.

can we stop getting "Attendance not submitted" when we did submit attendance but staff updates it later?
Here's the flow:
- Take attendance, submit it.
- Attendance shows as submitted
- Office staff updates attendance (due to parent note, athletics, whatever)*
- Attendance now shows as not submitted, because that update somehow registers as not updated, which is pretty dumb
- Teacher gets an angry "attendance not submitted" call or PA announcement
Please pretty please fix it!
*also if the counselor add a student into a period after attendance is taken1 vote -

Highlighting selected students when marking absent/tardy
When inputting attendance and marking students absent/tardy it would be nice if those selected students would get highlighted or something so we can see exactly who is being marked and avoid errors and potentially discrepancies.
