different slots to enter attendance
if different slots were available we can enter if a student is tardy and use a different slot if student might leave early that same day. right now we over write tardies with early leaves when that happens or when they return from "doctor appointments" their attendance becomes present or tardy but we can't indicate on misis records that student had previously arrived tardy or left early.

Norma, when you say that the "Attendance Audit report does capture all changes", do you mean to imply that the permanent record will reflect BOTH a tardy and an early leave for the same day? In other words, if a student arrived 20 minutes late because of waking up late, and left 20 minutes early to go to Disneyland, would this total of 40 minutes be counted as a truancy?

Does the student audit report record every change we make on the 'manage attendance' screen? This is the screen where it would be ideal to have these various slots available per date so that we may indicate if student arrived tardy in the morning, yet might've left to an appointment that same date. Students sometimes return after appointments, so maybe an extra 3 available slots per date can help with logging all this information and make it visible to misis user in case info in needed for any particular student.
