ZONE OF CHOICE SCHOOL
Please create a drop down selection for matriculating students to their new school. We need a drop down with the name of all the schools including Zone of Choice Schools, Magnet, SAS, etc. Please note that if student is going to Zone of Choice school, they must apply first (go to zoc.lausd.net for more information) and they have to be accepted. Zone of Choice office generates a list of students who got accepted and delivers them to the ZOC schools. I don't know about Magnet school.
It's just a suggestion because we have lot of rolled over students who did not apply. Student who wants to attend Zone of Choice must apply first. Zone of Choice Office generates a list of students who got accepted and deliver them to the ZOC schools.
Zone of Choice School must not be selected and input the SOR instead when students have not been accepted by the ZOC yet. Please refer to the zoc.lausd.net for more info

School users may only enter a transfer to schools which are not part of Unified Enrollment application process. As a result, Zone of Choice, Magnet, and Dual Language schools are not included in the Transfer To dropdown. If matriculating students are attending one of these programs, the parent needs to apply. If the parent does not apply the school and the student will attend a choice program the new school may auto withdraw the student after July 1.
