Mass update
Have the ability to create a Mass Update with more than 50 students at a time. Specially with Middle and High Schools that have more than a thousand students. It is time consuming to do it 50 students or less at time as it describes it when you try and the Mass update.

student alerts on seating chart
Have the students alerts button available on the tab for the seating chart since it would help to group students when making the seating chart, to either make heterogenous or homogenous groups.

Tardy Reports (exclusively)
It would be very useful reports focused exclusively on tardies to be available on MISIS. Currently, there are only absence reports, which include tardies, but it would be helpful to be able to search for tardies only within a set of parameters (ex: Minimum 12 to maximum 1000 tardies, like you can for absences). Many elementary students who have significant issues with tardiness are not necessarily absent, so they may not pop up in absence summary reports.

When open in the IPad it does not revert back to the list view of students.name. Please make so it does.

Uncleared absence report with specific fields completed
I have been running the uncleared absences report and sorting by Period 1 and specific teachers. I have not had problems with this report until recently. The report is not including all student that have an uncleared absences report. I believe there is a glitch in the report when you sort by Specific teacher and period it does not include ALL student who need to receive a uncleared absence report.

MiSiS times out too fast!!
The 60 minute timeout means on a block schedule we have to repeatedly log in every period, homeroom, lunch, whatever. It's hardly the end of the world but it's ONE MORE THING when you're trying to get a big class going and take attendance. Can't this be 120 minutes?
Also there are many of us who when doing grade entry in MiSiS would get timed out and lose everything we input. But hey if we just opened that class, that should count as "Activity" so why the heck is it timing out at all? And if timed out, why doesn't…

Attendance corrections for Secondary School teachers
Please allow up to 4 days to correct attendance. This puts a large burden on the attendance office that teachers can correct only on the actual day of entry.

Idea for improvement
I would like to suggest please that you eliminate the multiple prompts that MISIS gives after you submit attendance that you have to click again on the browser confirming that the attendance has been submitted and also alerting you that the attendance has been submitted. As a classroom teacher, this takes up much time of the day for each period having waiting for the page to load when MISIS is slow (which is often). We know that our attendance has been submitted and received after we initially click on the submit button and the page loads showing all of our…

Substitute attendace login codes do not work
The temporary login codes given to substitute teachers frequently do not work. Our subs tell us they cannot log in for most of the periods they are attempting. This has been an ongoing problem, but seems worse since the hacking event a few weeks ago. We have asked them to be sure they type correctly, and to retry later, but we still encounter the problem.

Scan student ID for tardies in high school.
At our high school, we have hundreds of students that are tardy from advisory through the end of the day. These students are tardy upon entering campus, when they arrive to school. I'm not talking about already being here and being tardy to their next class. I'm talking about them being tardy upon first getting to campus. We already have to scan their phones for their Daily Pass, why can't we scan their bar code on their student ID into MISIS as being tardy. We also already use this barcode to scan their ID for their COVID testing each week.…

website improvement
when I'm signed out of attendance and submit I get an error rather than being asked to login again. Better yet, if i am logged out of misis while my webpage is sitting there, don't let it just sit there while logged out, force the page to refresh with a login requirement. Also, the timer doesn't refresh while I am actively using misis for attendance. How is this not fixed? you've had this program for years now - get it together!

Student Home Address Window
URGENT: Save/Update button needed for Student Home Address! Address changes will not update until you go through all the windows and Update, And, if for example, one of the Parents/Guardians is missing email address (and it was not provided) you have to create one to go to next window and then delete from the Parent/Guardian Info.
It is also creating a Pending Enrollment for the student (even if you just close the window).

I take attendance daily. At the end of the day I get a phone from the office asking me to take attdance. Make it better!

Stop Asking Me to Select My User Role
At least once a day, MiSiS bumps me from taking attendance and asks me to select my User Role, even though I select it every day and set it to default. Why does it keep asking me, even after I set the default?

Teachers Daily Attendance
For even/odd days only allow them to see periods that attendance need to be taken for for that day.

Remove emergency contact name and phone number on Uncleared Absences Report
Uncleared Absences Report needs to reflect the student's parents' names and phone numbers, not the emergency contact. t has been requested before but nothing has changed.

Alphabetizing (sorting) twice: by first then last name
Is it possible to have students alphabetized by first name THEN by last name when you click the First Name column at the top? As of now if two students have the same first name they are not then ordered secondly by their last name. This would greatly help match Zoom reports with Misis Attendance lists.
