be able to expand Attendance-At-A-Glance to a period by period version
Right now you just see a daily summary (which the legend at right does not explain all the codes, by the way!). You have to hover over each day to see the details. It would be helpful to be able to click to an expanded version which could let you see if a student is ditching a certain period, or chronically coming late, and more understandable to parents.

alphabitize!!!
Schoology and misis do not have the same alphbetizing, especially when students last names are the same.
Have respect for kids names. We ask for their last name but misis uses the students other last names which they don't go by.
Print the report card on both sides in English and spanish. Many students can't read a spanish report card. Create function to run a report for enrolled students with missing pictures.
We have many newly enrolled students that need School IDs, but they don't have pictures on the system. If there's a way to run a query or a report of Enrolled Students with Missing Pictures, it would help expedite our ID issuance process.

Print student info on one sheet of paper
This idea was rejected with the recommendation to generate the appropriate report. The email from your dept said to let you know what I think. I think it's ridiculous to refuse a much needed correction to a flaw in your system's functionality. Point me to a report that will print a student's parent and emergency info in 5 seconds while paramedics are waiting to transport the student to the hospital and the emergency cards are locked in the office because it's 5:00. Your recommendation to generate the appropriate report is meaningless in the real school environment. But we will continue…

can we stop getting "Attendance not submitted" when we did submit attendance but staff updates it later?
Here's the flow:
- Take attendance, submit it.
- Attendance shows as submitted
- Office staff updates attendance (due to parent note, athletics, whatever)*
- Attendance now shows as not submitted, because that update somehow registers as not updated, which is pretty dumb
- Teacher gets an angry "attendance not submitted" call or PA announcement
Please pretty please fix it!

Allow teachers to correctly mark 0% for work completed on ROAs and 0 days credit
Currently independent studies teachers are not allowed to accurately indicate that a student did not complete any assignments on a ROA. We have to put at least 10% even if they did nothing. We can also not make zero days credit.

Student using cell phone during class is out of control. Students lose instruction and their grades go down.

Action Taken on Referrals
When a staff member (administrator, teacher, etc.) enters a referral, I as a counselor, do not get an email notification that it is there. When I see the referral in misis and need to enter an action taken, I have to change my role from school counselor, to office manager. This was not the case in the past, and it is very inconvenient. Please change it so that I receive the email notifications again, and can submit an action taken without having to switch roles to office manager. It would make my job easier!

Print Grade Labels only for other Lausd Schools
I can not tell you how many schools do not close out their records.

Highlighting selected students when marking absent/tardy
When inputting attendance and marking students absent/tardy it would be nice if those selected students would get highlighted or something so we can see exactly who is being marked and avoid errors and potentially discrepancies.

Print student info on one sheet of paper
We should be able to print student info like class schedule, grades, enrollment history, etc. on one cohesive sheet of paper. Currently a student schedule will print on 4 sheets of paper, with two mostly blank.

Time Entry on Interventions
After the latest update, you can only enter whole hours as the time of intervention on MISIS. We need the ability to change the minutes. For example, when you open an intervention, it defaults to the time you open it. If you are tracking your intervention at the end of the day after instructional time, you cannot modify the time to, let's say, 10:43 am, because you can only choose 10:00 or 11:00. For the sake of liability, rounding times doesn't feel right. Bring back the ability to modify minutes.

Label Customization
Is there a way MiSiS users at any school level may be able to customize a label like in Legacy SIS or ISIS? By allowing a user to customize a label to its need, maybe then MISIS will take it into consideration into making it an option.
