I think this is just a subset of the problem of co-teachers not having MiSiS access at all. They can be added in to Schoology as Admins, but that is not the same thing.

Grades must be entered in Schoology and transferred to the report card module via MGP 2.0...or do you mean that one time there was a failure?

This is like what I posted "there is no code to excuse students sent to other teachers" but I did not see this one when I did that. I deleted that entry, my comment was
"If a student is tardy or leaves early to/from another teacher (for instance to band or for a special project or pep rally etc) there is no attendance code for this. There is for Athletics or Testing Program or Guidance Office and so on, but there should be some kind of "other" category"Guarin, Eric supported this idea ·

Opened enhancement 7334 Modify Teacher Class Attendance 2.0 to alphabetize student names to match Schoology alpha rules.

It is not Schoology and MiSiS that differ. It is MiSiS attendance module and the grading module. One alphabetizes unicode commas before spaces and the other does the opposite. Schoology gets the information from the grades module and PRESTO:
Attendance: "Lopez Gonzalez, Earl" comes before "Lopez, Jane"
Grades/Schoology: "Lopez, Jane" comes before "Lopez Gonzalez, Earl"
I filed this bug long ago but it still persists. It makes it very easy to put in the wrong grade for a student, if you are working from a 5-column roster.Guarin, Eric supported this idea ·

I'd suggest as a popup "you are marking this student present when they have been marked absent" (or the converse) please CONFIRM - THAT could be great! I get so many "discrepancies" due to students coming so late to school and missing entire periods, and due to ditching, that it is really irritating. It would indeed be nice to pre-clear those (and, help catch mistakes as well)

this is the same as the later "Grade Changes" item. I'm surprised this is not available, that seems nuts what with summer intervention

Often we are contacting due to more than one reason (both Academics and Attendance for example). It would thus be good if we could choose more than one.
